Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without His unfolding grace. 2 Corinthians 4:16 MSG
When you first chose to believe in God, His grace wiped away every past digression you’d ever made from the life He designed for you to lead. But His grace doesn’t stop there. Every day, it’s at work. You may be God’s daughter, but you’re still growing. There’ll be times you’ll stumble. Times you’ll look to yourself first, instead of to God. God’s grace continues to cleanse you and draw you closer to Him, reassuring you of His unfailing love.
God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8 NLT
It’s humbling to accept a favor from someone, especially when you know it’s one you can never repay. But that’s what grace is: a gift so big you don’t deserve it and can never repay it. All God asks is a tiny, mustard seed-sized grain of faith in return. When you tell God, “I believe,” His grace wipes away everything that once came between you and Him. Lies. Anger. Betrayal. Pride. Selfishness. They’re history, by God’s grace alone.
